Monday-Saturday - 10:00 a.m. to 04:00 a.m.

Sunday - 9:00 a.m. to 04:00 a.m.

First bar: M-Sat from 10:00, Sun: from 9:00
Outside bar: M-Sat: from 12:00, Sun: from 9:00
Garden bar: M-Sat: from 18:00
Kitchen: M-F: from 12:00, Sat-Sun: from 17:00
First flour bar: every day from 18:00
Labor Craft Beer Bar: every day from 18:00
Szalon Bar: M-Sun: from 18:00
Wine Bar: every day from 18:00
Koktail Bar: every day from 18:30  
When we are closed: we need a little break before starting a new year. Therefore please do NOT visit us during Christmas period (23rd, 24th, 25th, 26th of December) and New Years Eve.

Is this a good place?

Yes, it is.


Can I bring my pet?

Yes, from Monday to Saturday between 10 a.m and 8 p.m. You cannot bring it in during the Farmers’ Market on Sunday between 9 a.m. and 2 p.m. but from 2 p.m until 8 p.m yes, again.

Can I watch sport matches?

We know many of you are fascinated because international sport championships, however we would like to keep our atmosphere as it is: solid, intimate, without cheers or boos. If you are keen on watching the match, please, choose another place. You can still find us if you want unique concerts, talk in the evening with friends or dance till the crack of dawn.


What was this building before?

What can I eat?

You can have a coffee from 10 a.m. in Szimpla Kert, and from 11:20 a.m. our kitchen helps you reduce your hunger at the first floor.

We decided to select the best ingredients on Sunday morning for a delicious brunch, where you can eat as much as you wish with muesli, organic fruit juices, home-made cocoa, tea specialities and coffee. The brunch is open from 9 A.M. to 14pm, where Andi Béres and Csaba Danicska offers you the best Szimpla Brunch, the best products of our farmers' market on the first floor.


Can I book a table?

We do not take table reservations in the guest area but in our private room (groups between 20-50 person) you can organise a party. Please write to for more information.


Is there an entrance fee?

No, there isn’t. All the programs in Szimpla Kert are free. You may have to wait a bit to get in in the evening. You may have to go through a short safety check  for your own safety.


Can I pay by credit card?

Yes, but if you would like to take it by cash, there is an ATM on the left after entering the bar.


What can we bring in and what not?

In case you have such an object or tool with you that the security finds inappropriate or risky, you will have to leave them at the entrance while you are inside. How long are the concerts?

On Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays until 10 p.m. the open stage on Friday lasts until 11:30 p.m. and the jam session is until 11 p.m.


Is the building safe?

The building is structurally completely safe. Please watch out where you step or sit down as there may be shards of glass, sharper pieces of design which may cause an accident in case you are not careful enough.


Can I take my bicycle in?

We would like to ask you leave your bicycle at the bicycle holders in front of the building or at the one 50 metres from the entrance, the latter is monitored by CCTV cameras. We don’t take responsibility for bicycles.


Where can I park?

If you have to come by car at all costs and you cannot find  a parking space, we recommend you the parking lot in Nagy Diófa Street.
